August 25, 2026 – NFPA Global Solutions® announces the expansion of its Board of Directors with the appointments of Ross Ashley, president and CEO of the National Fire Protection Association® (NFPA®); Suzanne Gallagher, NFPA vice president and general counsel; and Russ Leavitt, executive chairman of Telgian Holdings, Inc. The appointments reflect NFPA's continued investment in NFPA Global Solutions as the organization broadens its global portfolio of compliance solutions, digital products, and advisory services.
Ashley, who became NFPA’s president and CEO on August 1, joins the board following Jim Pauley’s retirement. Ashley brings more than 30 years of leadership experience spanning public safety, emergency management, intelligence, government, nonprofit, and private-sector organizations. Leavitt is a former chair of the NFPA Board of Directors with over 45 years of experience in the fire industry. Gallagher currently serves as NFPA's vice president and general counsel, where she oversees legal affairs and supports strategic governance across the organization. Together, their deep expertise in fire and life safety, governance, and organizational leadership will help shape NFPA Global Solutions' long-term strategy.
