Doug is the managing director of the Dyne Fire Protection Labs and NGS Global Advisors, responsible for the overall business, and the chief commercial officer of NFPA Global Solutions™, responsible for driving enterprise-wide revenue generation and business growth. Prior to joining NFPA Global Solutions, Doug spent 25 years performing global commercial leadership roles in the testing and certification industry for Element Materials Technology, Underwriters Laboratories (UL), and Intertek. He was involved in multiple acquisitions and integrations and implemented strategies targeting aggressive growth, crafting solutions for Fortune 500 companies that required digital technology adoption, energy use optimization, chemical risk management, and various consulting services. As a result, he spent significant time abroad globalizing businesses by creating and building teams in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Dayton, did MBA work at Villanova University, and participated in a year-long executive education program with Yale University.
